Our ocarinas come in 4 hole (one octave) plain and imprinted (red ware only) and in 6 hole (diatonic through chromatic scales) in red ware and non-toxic glazes.
All ocarinas come with a songbook which includes instructions and dot-&-circle notation. All are completely washable and will perform better when kept clean.
This instrument is easy to learn with practice. Only a gentle breath is needed. Overblowing will produce squeaky or breathy notes. Hanging from its neck cord, your ocarina can accompany you anywhere, even in the rain, and can provide enjoyment, comfort, education, stress relief, and entertainment. When your ocarina is not on your person it should be put in a safe place to assure its longevity. A good rule of thumb is to treat your ocarina as if your home is full of cats and drunk people!

Each ocarina will have a 2mm waxed cotton neck cord in either black or brown. It is emphasized that this cord will keep your flute safe as well as handy. It should be replaced in a timely manner, but should be strong for many years.
